Intern @ WJC

"I spent a summer interning with the WJC in 2018 working as an Executive Office Intern in their global headquarters located in NYC. During my time there I got to work closely with almost every person in the office, all of whom were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always eager to help me learn something new. From learning about daily operations of this world wide organization, to participating with social media campaigns, and even being able to practice research skills, my experience working with the CEO and all of his staff was something I will always be grateful for."

At WJC I got invaluable experience working with partners around the world to combat antisemitism, including making a tangible difference in the US by helping pass the Never Again Education Act. I am endlessly thankful for the experience and mentors I gained back then and continue to benefit from today.

I started interning for the World Jewish Congress the summer before my freshman year of college and continued my internship over three summers. From opportunities to work with leading global partners, hands-on experience navigating the non-profit sector, and invaluable exposure to diverse Jewish communities, I am proud to say working with the WJC prepared me to enter the world of international advocacy.

It was an honor and a privilege to work on WJC’s digital advocacy team! From networking, to establishing team working skills, going to the UN, and doing my share in fighting antisemitism, my time at WJC was absolutely amazing. I am so grateful to have had this experience!

Working at the WJC was a transformative experience. I learned transferable skills in content creation, article writing and running a campaign. I felt extremely supported by all of the WJC staff throughout my time there and was introduced to many more incredible opportunities as a result of the internship.
